Jordan Brand’s introduction of the Air Jordan 1 Men's/Women's turned heads because of the Swoosh branding throughout inspired by the Air Jordan 1. While the performance model pays homage to Michael Jordan’s classic first silhouette over three decades later, there’s still nothing like the original which is why we’re so excited for September’s Air Jordan 1 “Bred” release. The remastered upper features a beautiful tumbled leather throughout in Black and Varsity Red while the iconic ‘Wings’ branding and ‘Nike Air’ stitching on the tongue transports us back to 1985 with ease.
The Air Jordan 1 Basketball Shoes has been a bonafide lifestyle juggernaut for 30 years, flawlessly blending the iconography of Michael Jordan’s playing career with the streetwear world. Jordan Brand has added luxurious finishes to the Jordan 1 through their premium Pinnacle Series and now we get a new look on the timeless silhouette with the Jordan 1 Deconstructed. Here this lifestyle preview takes the Air Jordan 1 High to task, ditching the numerous leather panels for a bolstered all suede upper. Uniquely subtle stitching pays homage to the original contours of the Air Jordan 1 including the Swoosh branding for a simple understated look. So far, only two monochromatic colorways of the Jordan 1 Deconstructed have surfaced online – an off-white and an all-black. Each features the Jordan 1’s original outsole unit with Nike Air branding.
Why did Air Jordan 1 for Sale Brand create a colorway inspired by the Olympic Bronze Medal? Why celebrate anything but gold? We’re not sure, but the shoe looks good, anyway. Actually we’re not even sure if the third place medal is the official inspiration for this new Air Jordan 1 High in crackled black and grey with metallic bronze accents, but when you put bronze on a sneaker this close to the Olympics, that’s obviously going to be the assumption.
We’ve been treated to a number of must-have Air Jordan 1s throughout 2016, but perhaps the most surprising release is the return of the metallic patent leather style found here on this Air Jordan 1 Online “Grove Green”. For those of you who don’t remember, the patent leather style of the Air Jordan 1 was a polarizing addition to Mike’s iconic first signature silhouette back in the early aughts with the stand out being the Black/Metallic Gold rendition.
This “Grove Green” pair takes an Oregon-like approach thanks to the combination of a black base and dark Grove Green accents on the Swoosh branding, heel, and toe panels. More interesting is the underlying cracked pattern throughout the green portions for a vintage effect. Buy Air Jordan 1 The traditional ‘Wings’ branding returns on the ankle support while the tongue skips over the classic ‘Nike Air’ for a crisp white Jumpman branding.
