I use a PC, Quark 6.1, and Adobe 5 at work. We work on scientific texts and need to create PDFs of our book chapters for people to read online. I have no problem creating automatic bookmarks in PDFs, but I have a question about the bookmark titles. Many of the titles to our chapters and figures (which we bookmark too) are long. When I create automatic PDFs using the export to PDF feature in Quark, the bookmark titles are cut off after 28 characters (counting letters and spaces). Is this normal? Is there a way to export the full titles of chapters to automatic bookmarks? It could be that this is not a set up in Quark but rather in Adobe. I do not know.
Any help will be apprecited.
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
