A new rumor has just surfaced which will have fans of the Air Jordan 5 Online jumping for joy. The Air Jordan 5 in the OG Fire Red colorway is now currently rumored to release in early 2020. Making its debut in 1990, the Air Jordan 5 Fire Red will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2020 and is expected to release in the OG White, Fire Red, Black color scheme. The shoe is expected to come with a white leather upper, a silver 3M reflective tongue, and Fire Red and Black accents throughout the shoe.

Images of the 2020 variation have not surfaced yet, but suggested to reflect its OG 1990 counterpart with the favorable “White/Fire Red-Black” color scheme. Additionally, notable details include translucent lace locks, Nike Air-branded heel tabs, the shark teeth-inspired shank on the midfoot and an icy translucent outsole to finish it off.
Meanwhile, the friends and family pair calls upon a vivid red, presenting a look that’s reminiscent of the classic red suede Air Jordan 5 Basketball Shoes from 2009’s DMP “Raging Bull” pack. For special detailing, each shoe also features a “5” on the lateral side instead of the AJ5’s standard “23” hit, and a large embroidered Trophy Room logo on the heel. An official release date has not yet been announced, but as Trophy Room is moving out of their Disney Springs location this summer, you can likely expect the release of these 5s to coincide with the opening of their new store.
Michael Jordan’s son Marcus has another collaboration with the family brand lined up as first images of an Air Jordan 5 Men's/Women's has appeared. Featuring a colorway similar to Travis Scott’s Houston Oilers-inspired Air Jordan 4, this upcoming release makes use of a lighter shade of blue with accents of red and gold. On the heel is the number 5 (Marcus’ number from his playing days), with two additional shoelace options offering up some versatility that typically doesn’t come attached to this model. According to zsneakerheadz, a friends-and-family pair in a reverse color-blocking is also said to be in the picture.
