Hi,

Question: Is it possible to do the following:
1. Mass clean up tags
2. Direct rename files
3. Auto tag from filenames

all by pressing one button?

Also, lets say I have a track like: Beyonce - Get me bodied -.mp3

and want to have the program remove the - but only when it is right before the file extension. Is that possible? Also, let's say I want to remove the word "featuring" from the title and artist fields and replace it with "ft", would that be possible as well?

One more thing.. I noticed that when I use "direct rename files" and have "casefix and replace" on, there seems to be a problem in which some of the words that sit between the very first and very last word do not get capitalized. Sometimes everything works fine though... Is this a known bug?

btw.. Great software. I just registered it.  :D

Thanks.

Yes, all those things are possible. :) To create a macro, simply start recording it, then perform all the operations you want in the program, and then stop the recording and save the macro to a button.

About the capitalization problem you mention, which words were that? Some words should not be capitalized according to English grammar rules, and Mp3/Tag Studio takes that into account when capitalizing.

Magnus,

Thanks for your reply. I will have a go at the macros. The words that are not being capitalized are all different sorts. Names, etc. and never at the end or beginning of the title or artist name. When I re-do the "direct rename files" it is done correctly though...
