The Buy Nike Air Skylon silhouette has returned to action in 2018, releasing in multiple new and OG color schemes, showing off its dazzling midfoot. One of those OG iterations calls upon a shimmering Blue Lagoon and Grand Purple gradient pattern with blue branding on its lateral heel and heel stamp. Now, the Beaverton Brand is set to remix the Skylon with a very similar colorway that swaps out its white upper with a more fall and winter-ready black tone. A white Swoosh and midsole unit add contrast however, allowing for its deep purple-to-sky blue fade to garner most of the consumer’s attention.
After releasing in both a stark black and an airy white colorway, Fear Of God‘s luxe take on the throwback Nike Air Skylon 2 is now set to drop in another on-brand tonal palette: “Light Bone.” Nike Air Skylon on Sale The first two pairs were well-received due to designer Jerry Lorenzo’s ability to mix their classic sporty style with his unique high-end streetwear flair, and that design ethos is certainly continued on this new pair.
A combo of “Light Bone” suede and soft grey mesh graces the upper, while a translucent midfoot Swoosh and grey Fear Of God branding on the lateral heel add pops of understated flair. Purchase Nike Air Skylon Small patches of reflective silver material bedeck the toe, and a perforated leather tongue/sockliner add just enough opulence to round off the look. A trifecta of lacing options also allows for customization.
Fear Of God‘s Jerry Lorenzo is the current man of the month in the world of sneakers. Nike Air Skylon Sneakers After collaborating with Nike on two brand-new silhouettes — the Air Fear Of God 1 and Air Fear Of God Shoot Around — earlier this December, he’s now got more on the way: a duo of new takes on the retro Air Skylon II, an early ’90s Nike Running favorite. With Fear Of God, Lorenzo has mastered the art of modernizing timeless pieces like jeans and hoodies, adding just enough special twists to ensure they’re unique while also making sure they’re still immediately recognizable.
He’s imparted the same ethos onto his Nike Air Skylon for Men and Women collaborations, providing premium embellishments like a perforated leather tongue, patent leather Swoosh, and new toggle lacing system, while ensuring the shape and overall style aren’t too dissimilar from the original version. Arriving in both a black and a “Light Bone,” Lorenzo’s shoes call upon a mostly tonal upper — save for grey hits by the toebox — and are finalized by special “Fear Of God” branding on the lateral heel, replacing the normal Skylon text.
