Topic: Can't get v3.01 to start up in WinXP, Support for XP< Next Oldest | Next Newest >

I can't seem to get v3.0 or 3.01 to start in WinXP.  The prog shows up briefly, and then shuts down (doesn't show up in taskman).  Anyone have any similar problem/suggestion as to how to alleviate it.  Tag Studio is the best tagging program I have found, and I'd love to be able to use it effectively

Hmm, very strange, I don't think I have heard anyone report such a thing before, I hope that not many people have this problem. :(

Are you using any anti-virus software? In that case, please try to deactivate it and see if the problem still remains after this. Otherwise, please see if you can test it on any other computers (preferably having the same operating system version).


PS.
The program could potentially behave strange like that if an attempt has been made to crack it, or if someone tries to use an illegal license in any other way, e.g. a stolen serial number, but I'm sure you haven't tried that. :)

You aren't using any type of Windows skinning program, are you?  I know Stardock can make programs act erratically.  Best bet is to close all other programs until Tag Studio will open.  It's generally a rogue program causing the conflicts.
