When trying to sync IE Favs and Opera Hotlist, I get the following 2 messages: "Failed to read bookmark structure from file!Memory error." and "Error reading sync-set data from disk! The misc. data path in the main settings may be incorrect.  Sync operation aborted."  I have checked the misc.data path setting, and it is the default.  I have also checked the paths of both Favorites and opera.adr, and they are default.  I also tried re-initializing, but then get a "Invalid pointer operation" message.  I am hopelessly lost.

Will  a normal conversion from Opera to some other format work? Will a normal conversion from IE to some other format work?

Yes, when I first purchased the program I was able to successfully convert Opera to IE.  As I recall, I was also able to sync the 2 programs....once.  Maybe I should uninstall Bookmark Converter and start from a reinstall?  Thanks for your help.

Ok, but does normal conversions work in any of those directions now, and in that case which one? I ask this because I suspect that some of your involved bookmark collections might be corrupt, or have a new unknown format, and in that case I can analyze it for you. I just need to know which conversion directions work first, ok?

OK, it is working now.  I reinstalled, then found that there was a link to favorites (.lnk) within the favorites list that was causing the program to jam.  I deleted that, and it works.  Thanks for your attention.
