Is there a way of preventing Opera's Trash folder from being treated as a normal folder? When synchronising Opera 7.53 and Mozilla 1.5, the Trash folder gets duplicated as a normal folder in Moz, which then gets reduplicated as a normal folder in Opera, while the proper Trash folder is removed! But Opera sees that there's no proper Trash folder, so recreates an empty one and sticks it at the top of the bookmarks. This situation is then stable for all further syncs.

Given that Moz's bookmarks are just HTML, there should be a way of writing the Trash info into Moz in such a way that Moz doesn't display it as a bookmark folder, but so that syncs with Opera result in Opera rescuing all the Trash info

Ideally it would be better to be able to exclude certain folders or bookmarks from the sync process in each direction.

Ok, I will look into this, I think this is already working in earlier versions of Opera bookmarks, but it seems that Opera did some changes to its bookmarks recently that may have messed it up. Please stay tuned.
