Just came upon this software, and it's awesome.  It really has almost everything I need.  However I've noticed something I can't figure out: while browsing tags (under "Browse/Edit Tags & Flags"), in the bottom right it displays the file length / size / frames.  Sometimes all fields are black, and sometimes the length and frames fields are red.  Any reason for this?  I looked through many files to try and find a logic, however I couldn't.  The only thing I noticed is that all the mp3s that I created are always in black.

The only thing I can imagine is that it displays in red when there is an offset between the file's size and number of frames (meaning empty space in the file...?)

Thanks for this tidbit of info for a curious user.  And awesome job!

I'm glad you like the program. :) When these fields are red, it means that the file contains a VBR header, and that the size field in this header contains a filesize that does not match the actual current size of the file. You can fix this with the VBR repair feature of Mp3/Tag Studio.

Awesome!  Thanks for the quick response!

I knew that the red had to flag some sort of problem.  Now I know!

I think I'll be registering this software - I have become a tag fiend after discovering audioscrobbler!
