A bunch of people have asked me how to use their old 2.x licenses with the new version 3.0, so here it is, for everyone to see:

Q: Will 2.x licenses work for version 3.0?
A: Yes, they will work for all future versions of Mp3/Tag Studio, they are lifetime licenses!

Q: How do I transfer my old 2.x license to Mp3/Tag Studio 3.0?
A: Either you register the program in the exact same way as you registered version 2.x (this info is in your registration mail, and will not be discussed here), or you copy the file "mp3ts.rg" from your old 2.x installation directory to the new 3.0 installation directory.


I hope this made things a bit more clear for everyone.

Please also note that the exact same procedure is valid for using your old 3.x license with a more recent 3.x version.
