Mp3ts is not changing the tags.

the problem happens when I click on mass set tags and flags and I set Encoded by (TENC) to XYZ. I have preview mode on.
looking at the preview the field is not changed.
Other fields are also not being changed like the track name ect..

I have ran scandisk no errors , defraged the hard disk, all other games and apps work fine.  I dont believe this is a hardware issue.
has anyone elce with mp3ts having anything like this happening?

ok I have uninstalled mp3ts beta 10. and Installed mp3ts3.5 non beta.

same thing it does not change the tags. I can delete a chr from a tag but when I try to insert a chr the program just beep's at me.

Hmm, this "beeping when you try to insert something", exactly where is this happening? In which dialog/window?

You aren't trying to enter text into the preview window, are you?

If you don't use the preview mode, is the data correctly written to the tags then?

ok I some progress here I think, I downloaded the newest beta(11) and installed it.
useing b11 I can go to the mass set tags/flags tab go to the more section add the encoded by field  set a value xyz.
I have preview mode on. I click execute and the preview window comes up. I scroll over to the v2 section and look at the encoded by fields they show no change. If I click the looks good do it for real button  and go to the browse/edit tags and flags I can see that the program did make the changes.  I am going to try editing some things and see if other fields work in the same way.
in the mass set tags/flags tab if I change any of the v1 tags the changes show up in the preview window and the changes do happen if I click on the looks good do it for real button. but any V2 tag change does not appear in the preview window but is being changed once the looks good do it for real button.

man I wish there was an easyer way to describe this stuff.
