Mp3/Tag Studio 3.5 beta 10 is released, here's what's added/fixed:

* Fixed the problems with the Explorer dir tree (both the earlier more rare ones, and the one introduced in beta 9).

* Fixed some bugs in the shell extension (i.e. the Explorer right-click menu).

Possible bug in beta 10, when you select name format elements via right click in the  "name format" fields of Auto Rename or Auto Tag, the elements are entered into the field with their hotkey tag  as well: eg <A&lbum><&Year>

This obviously doesn't work so you have to edit the & out.

This didn't happen for me in Beta 9

In case fix string substutions I have set up to replace 01 with 1 ect up to nine. this nolonger works.

In mass set tag's and Flag's  I have clicked the more button and set the Encoded by to "some string" but it wont write the string to the tag.

Thanks for the report Iceman, this has been reported by several users, and I will look into it as soon as possible.

Desslok, about your track number substitution problem, the track number zero padding option (see the global settings in the file menu) will override any such replacements if they are done directly for track number fields in tags. This has been the same for a long time.

About the other problem with mass setting the "Encoded by" field, I sadly cannot reproduce it, it works perfect for me? Could you please give more detailed instructions about how you do to produce this problem?
