I would like to run the VBR repair on all the files in a group of sub-directories.

In the current case I have a directory, "Haydn String Quartets".  This as sub-directories for each opus number, and these in turn have sub-directories for each quartet.  I have other, more complex, i.e. less symmetric, data structures as well.  Is there any way to run the VBR repair operation on all the files with in a given directory and it's sub-directories, recursively?

In the current case there are 69 lowest level directories, which means that having to do them one at a time will be onerous.

There is no direct way, but a workaround has been discussed several times on this board. First move all the files to one single directory (using the direct rename tool in absolute path mode), then perform the VBR-repair on this single directory, and then undo the direct rename operation to move all the files back to their original places.

As always with repair operations, be sure to back up your files first.
