All of a sudden noone has written a post for several days on the board, what's up with that? And Disposable Hero who was so close to his promotion and everything...

Did I say something to offend you all, or did Mp3/TS simply go out of fashion last week? :o

Come on, say something, ANYTHING, you can even break the forum rules a little if you like, just speak to me damn you! ;)

I think most people's questions/issues have been addressed with one of the following:
1) Yes MP3TS can do that, here's how.
2) It doesn't do that currently, but it will in a near-future version
3) It doesn't do that currently, but it will in a distant-future version
4) That issue will be fixed in a near-future version

In my case, I'm waiting to pound the hell out of 3.02  :D

Ok, well it could be that of course, but still a bit sad with all the silence. :)

I was also a bit worried that people didn't know that forum-post-notificiation subscriptions need to be renewed every 30 days, and that they just instead though that nothing was written on the board anymore since they don't get any notifications, resulting in them not coming here, in turn resulting in nothing really being written here anymore. ;)

I'm currently working on a big upgrade of my other shareware program Bookmark Converter. After that is done I have a bunch of other stuff planned (what I wouldn't give for MORE TIME :(), but I'll see if I can't squeeze in some bugfixing to release Mp3/TS 3.02 inbetween then.

PS.
Two more messages to go before you are the first user to get the three golden stars Disposable...  :p

Anyway, if anyone is feeling bored at their work or whatever, feel free to spam this off-topic forum with whatever crazy ideas and thoughts that might pop up in your head, because that's exactly what this forum is for.  :p

Okay, okay already.  I'll come back more often!  I promise!   :agree: Just quit the whining Magnus...  LOL!

Speaking of the bookmark converter...  I like it, but only use it when a new version of Mozilla comes out.  Since downloading it, I've used it ONCE, hehe.  HOWEVER, with Phoenix in alpha/beta and new versions being pretty regular AND the requirement of it needing to be completely uninstalled and then re-installed...  how about support for Phoenix?  The key piece to me is having it match up the personal toolbar, though.

Any chance of that?  If you could get it to match the bookmarks to that level of detail, I'd gladly purchase it.

Nice to see you back again George!  :p

About Bookmark Converter, the new version 3.0 is practically complete, and I will release a public beta of it any day now! (and open a new section for it here on the message board)

It has some really cool updates (actually, it's a huge update, practically a full rewrite with lots of additions too), and yes, it translates the "personal bookmark folder" too.

What is Phoenix? Give me a URL, and I'll take a look. I plan to support many browsers in this new version of Bookmark Converter, so I might very well support that one too.

Thanks, Magnus... it's good to be back!

I look forward to checking out the new converter.  (You aren't raising the price, are ya?  ;) )

Phoenix can be found here http://www.mozilla.org/projects/phoenix/phoenix-release-notes.html.

Essentially, it's a version of Mozilla without all the bloat that's slowly creeped into it, written in XUL.  It doesn't (yet) have an email client either.  The biggest thing for me is that the toolbars are completely customizable...  everything from the personal toobar to the forward, back, stop and every other item on the toolbars.  My understanding is that even the menus are planned to be customizable.

The next version is supposed to cut down on the overall size of the program itself, too.  Up to now, they've been adding features.

I've started using this instead of Mozilla for the majority of my browsing.

Ok, but are you sure that it has different bookmark files than the original Mozilla then? BMC 3.0 supports Mozilla already (and Netscape and IE and Opera :)).

And about the price... well... it's actually a little bit higher ($16). :ashamed:  But it's really a huge update, with a lot of work put into it, and it has lots of more features than the old version too...

It may very well be identical.  It automatically imports the bookmarks from Mozilla, so it at least understands it.

Well, when I release the public beta of Bookmark Converter 3.0 later today, you are very welcome to confirm that (and test it out just in general too of course :)).
