I'd really like to see the ability to remove the complete tag through the shell extension. I don't care about the individual fields in the tag but being able to completely remove either ID3v1 or 2 tags would be a huge help for my personal tagging.

This is already possible in the 3.0 shell extension? Under the "Remove tags(s)" submenu you can choose to remove either the ID3v1 tag, the ID3v2 tag or both. See it now?

After going back and looking, I do indeed see the option if I chose an individual mp3.

I was trying at the folder level, where it's not an available option. I also checked the ability to do mass removals by highlighting multiple files which is also not an option.
