Hi there!

I've been whittling away at my mp3 collection, and so far I've gotten the "TrackNr, Artist and Year" tags set up correctly. Now, for the "Title" tags. I've got the following types of filenames, and -maybe- a couple more (5000 files):

Accept-Love Sensation-Ser (Artist-Title-Trash)
Drifting Away-Wax (Title-Trash)
-Blind Guardian - Punishment Divine-Qtxmp3 (Artist-Title-Trash)
Boards of Canada - Dayvan Cowboy (Artist - Title)
Overused (Title)
-Trust-Vic (Title-Trash)

So, what I'm wondering is: Anyone got any ideas on how to automate this for me?

Thanks for reading

And thanks for an amazing piece of software, Magnus!
(But damn, I spend more time trying to get my head 'round filters and strings than it would ever have taken if I'd done all the tagging manually, I think. Still, it's good fun.

Oh yeah, the (Track-Trash)-bits are just comments I added in the post to help clarify the different formats.

Many different name formats in a big pool of files is always a problem, that's why it's good to always make sure that your tags are in good shape from the start, e.g. with Mp3/Tag Studio. :)

So, there will be some manual intervention necessary for those mixed format files in this case.  :(

Darn... ah well, at least I won't be bored in a while. =)

Thanks though!
