edit update
I seem to have found the problem to this. it only happens if you manually tick the log and md5 file. if you uncheck the 'custom file selection mode' button, it will only fix mp3s.
oh well. Is this a bug? should mp3ts alter a non mp3 file?
I wonder
hi ya ,
Happy New Year.
Heres my problem, I use Exact Audio Copy to rip my CD's and I keep the Log file it generates in my album folder plus an md5 file. This is because I belong to a music sharing hub.
I always fix my tags up after a rip, usually just adding a comment or whatever using 'Mass set tags/flags'.
Now heres the problem; after running this mass set tags /flags thru the folders I have noticed that it puts junk in the top part of the log and md5 file.
Heres a portion of the log and md5 file respectively:
Code Sample | ID3 TENC ! Exact Audio Copy (Secure mode)TPE1 Third World EAC extraction logfile from 25. October 2002, 13:46 for CD m-flo / The Replacement Percussionists ~ Rocket Scientists In Disguise~
Used drive : ARCHOS MiniCDRW XS4424 Adapter: 3 ID: 0 Read mode : Secure with NO C2, accurate stream, disable cache |
Code Sample | ID3 TENC ! Exact Audio Copy (Secure mode)TPE1 Third World m-flo - The Replacement Percussionists ~ Rocket Scientists In Disguise~ - 01 - Ayaushi Global Astro Liner.mp3 099b8a7468c4ea667f1a2828ad973fb7 m-flo - The Replacement Percussionists ~ Rocket Scientists In Disguise~ - 02 - Quantum Leap DJ Watarai Remix.mp3 1a4f5f263e82c36ccc89a79bb99456fa |
Is there any way to stop this from happening? I rip lots of discs and I dont want to have to manually uncheck every log and md5 file when I want to clean up my tags.
Hope there is a fix and good to be back again.
Cya
