-Brading Software Message Board +--Forum: Mp3/Tag Studio Support and Bug Reports +---Topic: New to MP3TS started by adam1111 Posted by: adam1111 on Jan. 17 2012,17:30 Hi. I'm new to tagging MP3s, and as such, have never used this program before - or any other MP3 tagging software. I have a bunch of MP3s which, when on my MP3 player, seem to have no tags whatsoever - they appear under Unknown Artist, Unknown Album and with the name "[track number] [song name].mp3". Some songs from another artist also appear in this category, not with their artist, so I assume they're also untagged. I just want to set the tags, but MP3TS is just way too complicated for me to use. Could someone perhaps explain to me what I need to do in order to set the tags for these? Posted by: Magnus Brading on Jan. 17 2012,17:46 Please give an example of an actual filename from this mp3 file collection of yours. Posted by: Magnus Brading on Jan. 17 2012,21:15 Strange. Are there perhaps two spaces after the track number in those file names, or are perhaps the "zeroes" really the letter "O"? Posted by: adam1111 on Jan. 17 2012,23:01 Nope, just checked. They're zeroes, and only one space. Odd. What I might do is get my dad to just tag them for me, he's the one who mentioned this program to me in the first place.
