Topic: Screening out first 7 characters fromthe title, Dumb question< Next Oldest | Next Newest >

I need to be able to screen out the first 7 characters from the Title tag, but can't work out how to do this. It's such a powerful tool that a method must be possible, but my small brain can't find it.

I assume that I should be using the Direct Tag manipulation in Advanced mode, but can't work out the syntax to do this yet.

You can use the technique discussed in this recent thread, exporting with the template "<Title>", and importing with the template "<TRASH:7><Title>"
