mp3 Tag Studio offers powerful filters for mass tag editing, but before i can put the filters into operation, a user needs to know what im filtering for.
it would be very useful if the user could scan a matrix of id3 entries for all files in a directory. in this way, the user could, for instance, detect systematic misspelling of an album name, then use this (mis)spelling as input for the mass tag edit filter.
a further extension of this idea would be support id3 matrix sorting based on tag contents, and filtering based on clicking of matrix rows.
mp3 Tag Studio already generates the id3 tag matrix and presents it as output of filtering operations. the trouble is, this information isnt available when i need it: to support filter input definition. ideally the id3 matrix could appear with any change of the target directory, and would appear in a separate window.
it would be great to hear comments!
