Give the user option to select where configuration data is stored.

I read the message in "How To" about saving configuration settings.  Would be better if all programs allowed users to select where user defined configuration data is stored.  Then the user could just remember to backup everything in that single location rather than having to review details for backing up settings for all their programs.
