Hi Magnus,
I know that MP3TS doesn't support accessing network drives, but I wanted to know if there is any possibility (forgive me in advance, I'm an audio engineer, not a software programmer!;) of writing a feature into MP3TS which would allow the program access to an FTP site, and then edit an MP3 file (or directory) sitting on that FTP server.
With my podcasts, every now and again, I'll find after I've uploaded a 20MB file that some field or other needs its data edited, and the only option at this point is to edit my local copy and upload it again.
If FTP access could be written into MP3TS (again, I have no idea of how complicated that may be, so just put me in my place if it's beyond feasible), that would be awesome!
I know I've said it before, but... still lovin' it! Well done.

Hi noddy, nice to see you around. :)

Sadly, the FTP protocol does not support partial modification of files, only full uploads of them, so this would not be technically possible, the entire file would still have to be uploaded to the server when the tag has been edited. :(

Oh bollocks :(
I was afraid you'd say something like that.
Oh well.... I'll just have to make triple sure I get the tags right before I upload.
end
