I'm using total commander and i've placed a shortcut for mp3 tag studio on it's button bar. My question is if it is possible with some parameter to laucnh mp3 tag studio from total commander and make it start at the directory total commander was?

Thank you

Yeah, sure, you can use the same switches as the shell extension does:

mp3tag_s.exe -sxd<folder path here>

For example:

mp3tag_s.exe -sxdc:\any\folder

Hi Magnus,

OK - this gives the help of starting in a specific folder.

If I use the 'Open With' possibility in the Shell Extention and then add mp3 Tag Studio to the extention *.mp3, what would be the switch to 'START IN THE CURRENT FOLDER, WITH THE FILE I'M POINTING TO'.

Just like the shell extention in xp does?

Could i make a shortcut to mp3tage_s.exe and then include such a switch??

Regards Leif.

Sure, just use "-sxf" instead of "-sxd".
