There's some 2003 discussion about adding an APE tag reading or writing capatility to MPS Tag Studio. However, I found no resolution to the suggestion. Do you plan any such changes? I use foobar 2000 as my mp3 player. Any changes that I make to a file with foobar can't be read by MPs Tag Studio. Mp3Gain also uses the APEv2 standard.

I still find that tag format too non-widely used to justify the implementation effort at the moment. I've been waiting for it to get big, but it just doesn't seem to happen.  :(

When searching for a tool to remove all tags (v1, v2, ape) i found mp3tagstudio.

It's a great tool, but without the ability to read/write ape tags i have to use multiple other tools (one for renaming and one for deleting tags).

It would be great to have a function for deleting all tags of a complete directory tree.

Magnus, please think again about supporting ape tags.
