Would it be possible to have a function called "Direct rename folders" that would do the same as "Direct rename files".

I just have a lot of folders with this format:

<Artist> - <Album> [<Year>]

And I want to change the format to this one:

[<Year>] <Artist> - <Album>

Is it possible to do this with your program?? (I haven't found the way)

You cannot actually rename folders, but you can do practically the same thing by using the auto rename tool with the <OldFileName> and <\> template fields, and especially if you combine it with the absolute path mode.

Well, I'm afraid it's not the same in my case because although I can create automatically new folders and move the mp3s there, I've got more than mp3s in the folders I already have(usually a couple of .jpg and a .txt). So, I would have to do the process manually anyway.

I simply wonder why almost none batch renaming tool has the ability to rename folders. Is it so difficult from the programming point of view? (curiosity)

My guess about the answer to this question would be that practically all taggers/renamers are primarily focused on processing files, not directories. Hence, the processing code of these programs is designed for this, and it might take quite big modifications of this processing code to start treating directories as single objects too all of a sudden. Evenmore so when people often want to base the names of the directories and such on data from all or several of the files in them, which makes it even more complicated and deviating from the normal processing routine with single file processing. This relatively large job is most likely deemed to be not worth it for such a relatively "small" feature, at least that's the case with Mp3/Tag Studio, and I think for many others.

I understand. Well, it doesn't matter. You're program is very good anyway.

Thanks, I'm glad you think so. :)
