I just downloaded the latest version of MP3 Tag Studio to give it a try and the install bombed out with an 'invalid drive z:' error. I did a subst on the windows\temp folder and this fixed it. Surely the install isn't supposed to be looking for the Z: drive?

This sounds really strange, as this install package has been around for quite a long time now without anyone else ever reporting this problem. Have you tried it on another computer, to see if it acts the same there? Thanks for the report anyway, it is noted in case of future similar reports.

Hmm, odd. It could be that my version of Windows Installer has become a bit twitchy. I've just tried to install mp3ts on our other system and it works fine. Doh! Not sure how Windows Installer has decided it needs a Z: drive, I've never set one up before.
Just checked the registry, it seems that something set my My Pictures folder to Z:\My Pictures. Windows Installer wanted to use that folder for some reason. Not that it put anything in it...
Nothing to do with your installer then! Sorry to bother you!

By the way, your app rocks. The subfolder processing works like a charm, as does tagging according to folders. I particularly like the way it works backwards down the folders if needed to find the album and artist names. Genius. I shall most definitely be purchasing!
So many features, so little time...

No problem. :) And I'm glad you like the program, there's even more really cool features in the new version I'm currently working on (as we speak actually). Hopefully very near to a first beta release now, stay tuned...
