Hi there :-)

Suppose you have some mp3 in the directory foo :

e:\mp3\foo\song1.mp3
e:\mp3\foo\song2.mp3
e:\mp3\foo\song3.mp3

Suppose that you would like to rename the directory foo by the tags "Artist" + "Album" of the files in the dir (given the fact that all songs contain the same Artist and Album flag, or any mp3 song of the directory could be chosen (let's say the first one, song1.mp3)).

Is there any chance to to this for ALL dirs on e:\mp3\ ? How to do it?

I should be happy to have an answer on this....

Many thanks,

Anag

You can do almost this with the absolute path mode of the auto rename tool. Just target a directory on the same drive as the working dir.

Perfect!  This is exactly what I needed.  This will allow me to clean up my tags first, then rebuild the directory structure as needed.

Great stuff.
