(you can upload it here in the forum directly) Posted by: HorsePunchKid on July 22 2005,03:10 Hi, Magnus. I think I may be experiencing symptoms of the same problem. When 3.5b14 starts up, the layout starts jittering constantly. Imagine grabbing the window and dragging it up and down on the screen very rapidly; that's basically what it looks like. I also tried the 3.05 release, and it had a similar problem, though the jittering was less pronounced. Here are a few screenshots taken at various intervals that sort of show what's going on:
Posted by: Magnus Brading on July 22 2005,11:14 Very strange, please try to start it with the "-noresize" command-line switch, that should work anyway. Posted by: HorsePunchKid on July 25 2005,23:48 Thanks for the quick response! Running with -noresize did indeed fix the problem. ![]() Posted by: tgo on July 26 2005,08:10 Thanks Admin, I was also having screen difficulties and the NoResize worked- but only for the main screen, when I go into "settings" I have the same problem that I had prior to the NoResize with the main screen. The main problem is that because the entire text and dialogue does not fit into the open window I can't access the "OK" button. Is there a different command-line that I should be using to rectify the problem for settings? If so what exactly is it? Thanks Posted by: Magnus Brading on July 26 2005,12:49 Tgo, are you really using version 3.5 (beta 14), and not the older version 3.05? Posted by: TGO on July 27 2005,01:39 No, I am using the older one, should I upgrade? would that help this issue? Posted by: Magnus Brading on July 27 2005,10:28 Yes, these issues should be fixed in the new 3.5 beta version. Posted by: TGO on July 28 2005,03:14 Thanks, 3.5 worked!!!! end |
