-Brading Software Message Board +--Forum: Off-topic +---Topic: Ok, ok, I'm not an artist with these things started by Magnus Brading Posted by: Magnus Brading on Nov. 08 2002,03:58 I know, the green colors in this forum could look better... ok, a lot better... ok, sure, you're right, they wouldn't necessarily have to make you wanna throw up either... and yes, the headache is just a preliminary stage, the nausea will come soon to you too, don't you worry. But c'mon, please cut me some slack, I had to throw it together yesterday before the Bookmark Converter 3.0 release, and I only had like 5 minutes. Not to mention my more or less complete lack of artistic skills when it comes to such things. Buuaahhaa... Anyway, TokyoElbow, would you by any chance have some spare time to let your magic coloured fingers loose on this skin and save us all? You sure did a fantastic job with the Mp3/Tag Studio skin anyway, so if you can just make this one half as good, it would be more than enough! Posted by: Skirge01 on Nov. 08 2002,15:25 Oh come on... don't be so hard on yourself about the colors in the forums. Green is a nice departure from what most people are used to. I try to use some shade of green in most things I create and I like it here in the forums. It definitely lets me know who's board I'm reading! I'll have to check out the converter this weekend and let you know how it works. George Posted by: Magnus Brading on Nov. 08 2002,15:58 It's not the green color per se that I don't like, it's more the combination of the hues on the page that doesn't seem to work completely. E.g. the text color might be a bit too bright and so on. And also, I'm already quite aware of how Bookmark Converter works (after all, I both created it and wrote the manual), so I'd much rather have you telling me if you find any bugs in it, if that's ok with you? Posted by: Skirge01 on Nov. 08 2002,16:15 LMAO! Such the smart*ss. Ok, ok... I guess I'll stick to telling you about bugs and not how your programs work. ALTHOUGH... if you know how it works, you should already know if there are bugs. George Posted by: Magnus Brading on Nov. 08 2002,16:20 No, for that I'd have to know how it NOT works. end |
