First off, let me say I _love_ the preview mode in 3.X!  Awesome!  I'm sure it would be tricky for you to do, but it would be very handy to be able to deselect certain results from the "preview results window".  That way, one could run a query, then trim off any files that got in by accident, and process the balance.

I don't know the relative difficulty of implementing this, but it would be nice... especially for the rash and impatient among us  :D

EDIT: fixed a spelling error, proving my point above ;)

I think that we all (ok, especially me, but you too, really ;)) would gain most by only using the preview mode as a means to learn how to configure the filter correctly. This will mean that as soon as you are sure about how to use it, all file processings will be much faster, without any need for post-corrective action. The sweeps are so fast in preview mode anyway, so reconfiguring the filter and redoing the sweep should be quite painless anyway. Thanks for the idea anyway, I'll keep it in the back of my head for the future.

It's worth searching for upcoming suggestions. I wanted to do exact the same.
