I'm planning to use some codes in the comment field that can be used to put together different sets of playlists. These codes would augment the information contained in the genre field. For example, say I'm going to use some traditional radio acronyms and code certain songs with CHR (contemporary hit radio) if they're familiar radio songs, or AOR (album oriented rock) if they're radio friendly but a little deeper into the artist's catalog than the top-level hits.
I actually have about 7 different codes in mind (most longer than the 3-character codes in the example above), and some songs would get multiple codes. What would be nice is to populate those codes into a list that would appear in a drop-down box for the commenst field. That way any codes or comments that are used regularly could be quickly and easily populated.
Could such a customizable drop-down box be easily implemented?
