First of all I want to thank you for this wonderful piece of software. I've been using it for years now @ Windows XP x86.
But (unfortunately) I had to install Windows XP x64. Now MP3 Tag studio won't work any more: I get errors:

When I try to masstag a complete folder, I'll get the error "Out of memory", and the program crashes.  When I try to do the same operation on just one file, everything goes allright. But when I select a couple of files I will get the same error, but sometimes also this error :

"Access violation at address 00402B41 in module ‘mp3tag_s.exe’. Read of address 0C2FF1DA"

I've got 4GB of memory, so I don't think it lacks memory :-)

I don't know if this is because of the x64 version of windows XP or another reason. I'm using version 3.5 Beta20.

Hope you can help me,

greetings from Holland,

DonnieDarko

his is most likely not due to the use of 64 bit Windows, but rather because some of the files you are trying to process have corrupted ID3v2 tags. Remove these tags completely (from e.g. the browse tool or mass clean tool) and then rewrite the tags with the auto tag tool, then it should hopefully work.

Mp3/Tag Studio has been reported to work fine in Windows XP 64, except for the Explorer context menu (e.g. "shell extension").
