I was sure, that TS can already handle this, when I promised a friend to solve his problem. But now, I'm also stuck with this problem...
He wants to make a list of his audio book mp3 collection, where the infos are all stored in several v2 comment tags ("COMM"), that are only differenced by content description. I don't know why he uses this format or which program produced it, but now I have to handle it.
My first problem is to extract any of the COMM-Tags at all. I always thought, that TS is able to extract any v2-Tag in advanced mode by using 'handmade' placeholders like '<v2_COMM>', but unfortunately it doesn't accept placeholders it doesn't know.
The second problem is to extract tags with the same name but different content descriptions into seperate fields. As I am still stuck with the first problem, I can only assume, that this will be a problem too, but I'm pretty sure about this.
To make the problem more seizable, you may download a short example mp3 file from the address below. Its only one second of the audio file, but with all the tags:

I hope, I can solve his problem with TS, as I wanted to convonce him of this tool, but if there is no solution inside TS, I'd also be happy for a pointer to another tool, that can solve this special problem.

It is not recommended to use multiple comment tags having only different content descriptors, due to the problem with specifying which comment frame you are really referring to in automated operations. You can still extract the contents of all comment frames with the browse tool (from the "Advanced ID3v2 info" box) though.
