Hope my three questions tonight aren't too much.  I've been storing up my questions the last few weeks.

This last question (which I realize now will appear as the first one in the topics list!) is: if I want to eliminate a given substring from all the comment tags, is the best way to do that to use the case fix and replace in the "autotag from filenames" area?

I would use the "Direct tag manipulation" tool with the template "<Comment>" ---> "<Comment>", combined with the case fix and replace utility. That would get it done in one quick sweep, without affecting or requiring anything from the filenames.
