I have a problem with the tag from list function. I have the following file row format: <Target file RP> :; <Artist> :; <Title> :; <Album> :; <Year> When I do the tagging from list Mp3 Tag Studio adds " :;" at the end of each album field. This happens at least if there is not given a year in the list. I haven't testet the other case. Posted by: Magnus Brading on April 20 2009,00:44 Please post a sample of the list that results in this problem. Posted by: Homer G on April 24 2009,18:22 ---------------------CODE SAMPLE------------------- Filename with relative path :; Artist :; Title :; Album :; Year -\1.mp3 :; 1 :; 2 :; 3 :; ---------------------CODE SAMPLE------------------- I have found out that it seems to work correctly if there is a whitespace after the last :; Posted by: Magnus Brading on May 03 2009,18:00 Yes, whitespaces are indeed included in the separators, so if you, through your defined template, tell Mp3/Tag Studio that there should be a whitespace, Mp3/Tag Studio expects there to be one, otherwise it just includes the found text in the captured data, since no separator match was found. Posted by: Homer G on May 10 2009,02:53 Mp3/Tag Studio should have put a whitespace there when it created the list. So actually it is a bug in the create list function. Or did I miss some setting, maybe the "fixed field width" setting? I don't know its purpose. end |
