Is there any way that I can automatically make the band/orchestra/accompaniment field equall to the current artist field for the tags that I am working on?

Example:

band/orchestra/accompaniment (TPE2)  =  xxxx

where xxxx equals a sting that I can leave constant between different artists and it automatically inserts the current artist field.

Sure, simply use the "Direct tag manipulation" tool, with the following single translation (advanced mode):

<V2_TPE2>  ----->  <Artist>
