Topic: Attached picture (APIC tag) support, APIC view in "Advanced ID3v2 info" panel< Next Oldest | Next Newest >

Some mp3s contain cover pictures in APIC ID3v2 tag (or frame). Mp3/Tag Studio can indicate the frame presense in "Advanced ID3v2 info" panel, and I can save a frame to a file. Then I look into the file to guess the format (jpeg most likely), rename the file and open it with a picture viewer.

1. Could we users have a picture thumbnail right in the panel to avoid the operations I've described?
2. Could the program try to guess the format and sugest the right file extention when saving to file instead of default "BIN"?

Thank you :)

Until the Almighty Author responds, you could use the free program Abander Image Extractor.  See:

First let me thank you for your effort with this program, I have tried many different tagging utilities and always come back to yours - it is a truly awesome piece of kit...

I see that adding support for picture attachment to the tag is under consideration, so may I just second this suggestion.  At the moment I use iTunes to attach album art to the tag, though it is sufficient it is terribly slow.  Adding this feature would make the program unbeatable...

Regards.
