I've loved and used this program for years, and have had it registered for five years.

But it's extremely buggy, and very limited in what it can touch now. MP3s aren't the only major file out there anymore, and Windows Vista/7 64 bit is still very iffy in places. I'm using the latest beta, I've tried all the tricks I've seen in the forums, I still encounter memory violations constantly when working in directories with more than about 15 subfolders.

Have you ever considered open-sourcing the program? I'm sure that there would be a significant number of people like myself that would be interested in up###### the program, adding features like artwork and other filetype support to it.

You could just distribute the source code, but not any binaries, and license it stating that people were free to edit and share the source but not distribute binaries.

First of all, it's not "buggy" just because I don't bend over backwards to handle every possible strange corruption that other programs seem to enjoy causing inside ID3v2 tags (try to delete a few random files from your Windows directory and then see how "buggy" your Windows operating system is?).

Second of all, strangely enough, I've never actually had this happen to me myself, so I'm not sure where you get all these mp3s with corrupted tags from? There must be some tagger programs out there that don't do their work properly anyway, that's for sure. Another thing that's for sure is that such crashes has nothing to do with "processing many files/folders" anyway.

And nope, I'd rather not give away all my hard work to you, sorry.

Makes sense. It's a hard earned code to create. Maybe in time if the price is right? Jokes*
