So, I rip with iTunes, and for the this particular disc, the Artist and Track Name fields are backwards. Consistently so.

Can I batch-change this, or do I have to fix one by one?
The file names are just the artist.

More tinkering will probably answer this, but I can't get to MP3TS just now.
Looking for assurance that Magnus' little piece of magic can help me again.

Aargh.

Of course. :)

Use the "Direct tag manipulation" tool with the following two translations:

"<Artist>"  ----->  "<Title>"
"<Title>"  ----->  "<Artist>"

Press execute, bam, done. :)

You can do this pretty quickly with the Direct Tag Manipulation tool. Drag the slider to show only the first 2 dropdown rows. On the first row choose Artist in the first column, and Title in the second column. Same process for the second row, just select Title in the first column and Artist in the second. Make sure your files or folders are selected, then hit Execute. Click, boom, smoov :agree:

Obviously you can use the preview window to make sure it's going according to plan. After sleepily transferring Title to Title for about 5 minutes one night, I can recommend the Preview function ;)

Hello Magnus!
As always, MP3 Tag Studio to the rescue. Worked perfectly, of course.

Now if only I could find an app that will autmatically calculate BPM, then update the tag! Bliss!

Thanks again!

If you find an app that can calculate BPMs of mp3 files, and then in any way write the result to a list of some kind, you can easily use the "Tag/rename from list" tool of Mp3/Tag Studio to import it to the tags at least. :)
