There have been (at least) two recent posts, one here, one in the "suggestions" forum, making reference to "mp3ts database".

Is this something I missed during two months off the net?  Or is it a misunderstanding on the part of the posters?

Enquireing minds want to know!

Database, schmatabase... in my years of waning grey matter, I probably used the term a bit loosely. I've been working so long with databases and spreadsheets that I tend to call any tabular information a database.

I'm trying to wean myself off of MMJB, an application that does actually maintain and display a flatfile database. Late one night while mucking about in mp3ts this listing files in tabular format flashed upon my screen. It showed all my files in all folders and subfolders. (Wish I could remember what I did to get that display!;) To me, that's a database, albeit a "dynamic" one. "Dynamic" as in RAM (here today, gone tomorrow!;)

Sorry for the confusion. Mp3ts does not maintain a database or list or table of filedata that I know of.

I'm just starting out with mp3ts and am trying not to do anything that might compromise (i.e. screw up) the work I've already put into tag info for my files.
