I consistently receive an 'out of memory' error when attmepting V1->V2 conversion.  Using 3.5 beta8.  This has been a problem for some time.  For a while i thought it was because of the 'copyright' tag being set, but it seems to be doing for most files.  I have a P4-3.0 w/1G mem, so i know my PC's fine.  after this error, tagstudio locks up and am forced to resart the program.  Any hints??

This is normally due to some mp3 files with corrupted ID3v2 tags among the files you're processing. Try to isolate which files it is, and then remove their ID3v2 tags with the browse tool in Mp3/Tag Studio. That should fix it.

Thanks for your response.  I still get the error when i run the mass remove tags with 'remove V2 tags' checked.  Is it only the V2 tags that can be corrupted?

Yes, ID3v1 tags should not be possible to corrupt in a way that would cause this error.

And the mass set tool might attempt to read the tags before removing them, you must try to isolate the corrupted files first, and then remove their ID3v2 tags from the browse tool or remove them completely while processing the other files.
