I just did a "Create list", in order to wipe and restore the tags on a group of files (don't ask!;) and tried to do a copy-and-paste (both with CTL-C/V and right-click drop-down menus) from the pattern there to the pattern blank in "Tag from list", but nothing is pasted.  Is there something stupid that I'm doing?

BTW, would it be too much to ask to switch the order of genre and tracknr in one or the other of those tabs, so they are consistent?  My first try fell flat on that.

Like with all the other tools, you have to have advanced mode enabled to be able to directly the template string (including pasting text into it of course). I just tried, and it worked perfectly for me?

And I'll take a look at that order too. :)

Sorry, weakness of intellect I guess.  I'm used to cutting and pasting in the Browse and Mass Setting tabs (which don't have advanced mode) that I just went ahead and tried.
