Hi,

I've a complete new installment of MP3 Tag Studio and lost my old configuration.

I want to use id3v2 tags only. It worked fine but now it doesn't. I guess I'm just missing an important option to check.

I checked v2 in the Tagging Core settings and unchecked "perform write operations on both tag versions". Additionally I tried checking "Override global primary tag version" in the "Browse/Edit Tags" settings.

Nothing works.

This happens with 3.05 and 3.5 beta 6

What am I missing?

Is this problem only in the browse tool, or in all of them? If you for example try to write tags using the auto tag tool, what is the result?

The settings you mention should suffice, and I just tried it myself without any problems, Also nothing similar has been reported before, so it sure sounds a bit strange.

If the problem remains, please describe an operation when this happens in detail, exactly what you do, the tag state before tagging, after tagging, and what you consider was wrong about it, and I'll see if I can find any problem, either in your procedure, your understanding of the situation, or Mp3/Tag Studio. :)

Ok. Don't worry. It was my fault. It only happened in the Browse/Edit fields and I just forgot to check the write to id3v2 only button.
