This program is go good if feels petty to complain, but what the hell---
I used the "more" (extended tags) in the mass setting tab quite a lot. It is a minor bother that one has to first uncheck the "more" box, then re-check it in order to open the window and change a value. Would it be possible to have distinct actions (a check-box and a button, say) to open the extra window and to cause its contents to be ignored?
On the same tack, I find that (in browse/edit) that when I open the extended tag display it is rather hard to position in so that it doesn't overlap some part of the main window. Unfortunately I don't have any bright ideas for a redesign of the GUI.
The display on the "Quintessential Player" (from Quinnware) in the "developement release 112" seems to incorporate the extended tags in a rather nice way. I must say I am not happy with 112 (QMP) itself -- it has a very bossy library system which I find gets thing wrong a lot of the time (at least you can turn it off), and is rather buggy -- but very much like the "current" program, QCD. But, as I say, the tagging interface, while very primitive compared to mp3/tag s. in function, does show more of the v2 tags in a rather nice, integrated way.
I'm particularly interested in the TPEn and TITn tags (and I note that TIT2 is missing from the Mass Set tab). They would be of great help in tagging most classical, and some pop & folk files.
Anyway, something for consideration.
