+---Topic: A different type of database system started by lazarus

I'm looking for a different type of mp3 database program.  I've been backing all my mp3's up to CD-r, as I make them or download them.  Thus, they're stored in all sorts of bizarre ways, with folders split across two discs, that sort of thing.

What I'm looking for is a program that would let me put in one of these discs, read all the files on it, and keep track of where they are.  In other words, I could keep a sorting of all my mp3s, and it would tell me they're on disc 23, or disc 14, that sort of thing.

Is that at all clear?  thanks!

This might be suitable for your needs:

Friends of mine who use it say that it's pretty good anyway.

Thanks, Magnus.  And may I say, your software is amazing.  I fully intend to register as soon as the budget allows.

That's what they all say (the register soon part anyway)... ;)
