hi guys and girls
i read about mp3/tag studio on another forum but i need a little help?
im tryin to use it so that when i transfer music to my mp3 player with sony's vaio music transfer utility, the track title is JUST the track title, not the track number, artist, album THEN track title.
this is the post where i read about the software, perhaps it makes more sense?
"One downside however is the fact that the track names are based on the ID3 trackname tag. Not too much of a problem as you can download a small free utility (mp3/TAG studio 3.0) to fill out the trackname tag based on the filename of the mp3 file. This can also batch process so you can do your whole collection in one go. But beware, I use this to fill out the Track title tag only with the whole filename (i.e. the bit before ".mp3"). If you already have information in here, it will be overwritten."
sorry its a bit confusing, any help greatly appreciated
