Hi everyone!

I used to know Mp3/TagStudio from several years ago and I have to say I am surprised it is still alive and kicking :)

Well, to my feature request.

As far as the .m3u list-creation-tool is concerned (called 'Create Winamp Playlist' in the filetools) i am missing a hot feature.

I am using another software to tag all my songs right, but i would like to create a .m3u with Mp3TS that has the name of the album name given in the ID3Tag.

So if i have a song called Foo.mp3 and in the ID3Tag there is an information that the album is called 'bar' i would like to create a file called bar.m3u.

ATM all i can do is create them manually, choose the right directory, give them the right name... you get the point.

Is there any chance these function might be implemented?

Please excuse my bad english :)

Improved list creation support like this is planned for a future update, yes.

This is great. Please also consider implementing a "Create Playlist" entry in the existing mp3 tag studio right-click context menu when a folder or files are selected.

I'd like to be able to right-click a folder, choose "Create Playlist" and have a .m3u named "#playlist.m3u" created in that folder. I chose to put a # symbol infron of playlist.m3u so the file will always be sorted at the top (alphanumerically). Others may prefer their own naming schemes (ie, %folder_name%.m3u).

As far as I know, there's no program in existince that does this. I currently have to use The Godfather or mp3tag for creating playlists, which is inconvenient considering I have to open the app and navigate to the folder.

I've been looking for an app for this purpose for ages! Good to see I wasn't the only one!
MP3TS getting even better, and I getting even more value for my registration! :D
