First of all... I wanna say that this software is my favourite of all the mp3 tagging tools i've tried. And i've tested out too many to count!

I've been using your software for probably around a year now. And I've never been able to fully tag my mp3's. What I mean is, There are only spots in your software that allow tagging as far as comment on the ID3 tag. The rest aren't available......

Composer
Orig Artist
Copywrite
URL
Encoded By

^ I wanna tag those too =)   Wouldn't it have been easiest to have taken a screen shot of the MPEG file info box and used that as a template for this software. And people could have filled up all those spaces exactly as they look when you view them out of your player (for me i use winamp.. so double clicking on the song name scrolling by is what im talking about)

It just seems like it would have been the most natural thing to do.

oh yeah.. also..

Navigating through all the sub folders contained within 1 folder to tag my mp3's is super tedius.

If I could just tell this software to mass tag all of the folders instead of having to manually navigate through them myself it would be the most helpful feature yet.

I would definetly purchase this software and tell all of my friends to buy it as well if these features can be added. Not to mention how your software would be light years ahead of everyone elses.

Thanks.

All ID3v2 text fields can already be accessed from all the tools. Use the advanced mode and then right-click in the template field to bring up a menu where you can select any field. The ID3v2 fields are accessed with fields of the form <V2_XXXX>, where "XXXX" is the ID of the field in question. The composer field would e.g. be <V2_TCOM>. But don't worry about the IDs, you can select all the fields in clear text from that menu.

And about processing subfolders, did you ever notice that checkbox named "Include subdirs" under the execute button of all the tools? :)

I'm looking forward to your registration. :D

Ok I right click in the whitebar and add the html lookin stuff...  But I'm not sure how to set the extra tags properly.

In the whitebar i have this...

<V2_TCOM><V2_TOPE> etc etc etc......

Then I went to Mass set tags but it only lets me tag the first 4 as usual.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks again :)

Which tool are you referring to about the template string, and exactly what is the operation you want to perform with it? Is it the "Auto tag" tool?

In the mass set tool, click the checkbox named "More..." (in the bottom right area), and you will get access to all ID3v2 fields.

I'm glad it worked out.

And sure, there are several alternative ways of payment besides credit card. Please look in the help file, in the section called "Alternative ways of registration" (it can be reached from the index).
