Hi,
When I use the "Mass set tags/flags" function, the artist information is appended to the tag, not overwritten.
I've been using Mp3/Tag studio for years and this problem just started 2 days ago. I was using ver 3.5 beta 19. I installed beta 20 and still have the same problem. I'm running under XP SP3.
I'm pulling my hair out. What changed. What option may I have acidently updated.

I would guess that you accidently moved the prepend/overwrite/append controls to the right of the fields (the three radio buttons, hover the mouse over them for more info). Simply put them all in the center position (overwrite) and it should work just fine again.

That was it. So simple. So bone-headed. Just an option I hadn't ever had the need to play with.
