Hello,

I'd like to write tags from a list to ID3v2 tags only and retain the existing ID3v1 tags.  I want to rewrite the ID3v2 TIT2 (Title) and COMM (Comment), but leave untouched the ID3v1 tags.

Is there a way to do this from a list?

Go into the global settings (in the file menu), then in the "Tagging core" section, simply set the "Primary ID3 version" to "v2", and deselect the "Perform write operations on both tag versions when possible" option.

Now everything in the program will only be written to the ID3v2 tag, not the ID3v1 tag, including the list import tool.

When you're done with the importing, you can restore the settings to the old values if you like.
